Brent Youth Debates - The May Edition May 15, at 5.30 to 7.30 at the Yellow

 • We are going to talk about Teresa May, again, as it is the May edition. There are calls for her to resign. What do you think? What would you advise her to do now and why?

 • Would you have sacked Danny Baker? Was he being racist to have posted a picture of a royal couple with a dressed up monkey?

 • Knife crime surge has been linked to cuts in youth services, so why do we do now. How can we get back what we have lost over the past three years?

 • And, not forgetting the Donald; should we roll out the red carpet for his next visit. Mayor Khan says not, and Corbyn is not even going to the party. Do you agree?

We have a packed agenda!

We will also continue with debate skills training throughout, refreshments and the development of a code of conduct for the group. It is our endeavour that everyone feels safe and happy with the project.

The code of conduct will include:

 1. How we behave towards each other
 2. How we behave towards the building
 3. How we communicate with each other on social media, particularly WhatsApp
 4. How we treat the environment coming to and going from the session
